Store Brands' Extra: Retail Awards Wrap-up / December 2015 / Store Brands 2 1 An evening to remember Store Brands' Retail Awards event brought retailers, suppliers and service providers together to celebrate outstanding achievements within the store brand arena. n Nov. 16, Store Brands hosted its Retail Awards reception to honor the winners in our 2015 Store Brand Achievement Awards, Store Brand Packaging Awards, Supplier Pacesetter Awards and Retail Executive of the Year program. The event, held in conjunction with the Private Label Manufacturers Association's (PLMA) Private Label Trade Show in Rosemont, Ill., brought together approximately 200 representatives from retailer, supplier and service provider companies to celebrate the best of the best in store brand-related achievements. On these pages, we share some photo highlights from the event. (For complete coverage of all of the awards programs, refer to the September, October and November issues of Store Brands.) t Sprouts Farmers Market won a Store Brand Achievement Award for the best use of digital/social media to promote store brands. p Sobeys took home two honors in the Store Brand Packaging Awards — a Silver award in the Beverages category and a Gold award for a New Line or Line Extension Across Multiple Categories. t Ahold USA was a double winner in the Store Brand Achievement Awards, for best new limited-edition product or product line and best new product/product line — food and beverages.
